Red Wines
Marquette
Marquette is the latest new grape developed
form the U of M. We are very excited with this new varietal. It
is a descendant from the Pinot Noir. Marquette is a complex wine
combining aromas of spice, cherry and blackberry, with a light
oak finish.

Frontenac
Frontenac wine typically has distinct cherry
& black cherry flavors. It is a full body wine with a unique spicy,
peppery and cedar nose. Pairs well with red meat, pasta dishes

Sweet Red
Made from the Valiant grape, with a hint of zesty
blackberry. It is our sweetest red wine and is perfect with any hotdish

Frontenac Ros'e -
This wine won a silver medal at the International Wine Competition
in 2009.
Made from Frontenac grapes fermented off
the skin yielding a semi-sweet, crisp, fruity wine with significant
cherry coming through. It is a soft and beautiful rose color. Serve
chilled for a refreshing summer glass of wine. Pairs well with appetizers,
cheese, grilled foods, and pasta.

Frontenac Gris
- Valley Mist
The grape is an unexpected, yet welcome mutation
of the Frontenac. This wine has a delicate, yet complex taste
structure with notes of apricot and tropical fruit, and has an
elegant, creamy finish, restrained by a refreshing crispness that
makes it very food-friendly - $13.95/bottle

Lacrescent
This is a high quality northern white grape
that was developed by the U of M. A semi-sweet table wine with
lots of citrus and tropical fruit flavors. Pairs well with salmon

Saranna
A blend of Frontenac Gris and St. Pepin. It
is an off-dry wine with a light body. You will notice a citrisy
flavor with aromas of pineapple, grapefruit and apricot. We named
the wine in honor of our granddaughters, Sara and Arianna. Goes
well with fish, salads and light appetizers.- $16.95/bottle
